What does our name
mean?
Our name, Marsad, is an Arabic word taken from the
root: Rasad which means to watch something or someone
closely.
Going back to our name, Marsad, it means
The way you watch out for something or the place
you watch out for that thing from.
Marsad is also given as the name of the place from
where you follow the movement of objects in space
(heavenly objects) or the place from which one records
Earthquakes.
To make it easier Marsad is the Arabic word for
the English word Observatory.

When did we start?
To know when we
started depends on what start means!
The idea of such a website providing different
services began in summer on 2001, and that
is when we began the implementation.
Our first service, "books.Marsad.com",
was launched during mid-November of the year 2001. Since that time
it has been successful, we hope that in the near future we will add
more launch dates to more services.

business from?
Since our beginnings, we have been doing business from Rammallah in
Palestine and until now, although people all around the globe can
view our sites, we are providing our services to people in Palestine
only, but we are hoping to expand to provide the same services to
people all around the world.
